Currently all my images of Seals are taken in Ravenscar, Scarborough.
Seal have round bodies, blubber that keeps them warm, stores nutrients and help them float. They live mainly in sea water across the globe and are vital for their ecosystem.
These Seals are so difficult to get to. The walk down to them is brutal but the walk back up is much worse. All of that said the trip is worth it. To see the animals up close was amazing, I had been in harbours around coasts and cliff tops in Cornwall, trying to find wild colonies but couldn't get close enough. Ravenscar, Scarborough was the personal viewing I was looking for, with extra care and consideration for the Seals it was a great memory to keep.
